an action entirely beneath me

unworthy of your trust i lie
ashamed of my dark faults
alone i am responsible for this
i must bare the results

darkly haunted with remorse
i can not hide from my regret
a betrayer of sacred trust
this disappointment i wont forget

thoroughly intoxicated in angered hatred
shadows cloak any brilliance that is left behind
choking on this intense guilt
