Ok, theres a batch of speed that is going round @ the moment, that is like an off white/yellowish sticky paste that mnakes your mouth really numb and is like rocket fuel. Is this Meth? Or mixed with Coke or something? It tasted VERY bitter.

I doubt it's coke. Theyr'e both nicely psychologically addictive, cat would be a better cut to hook people, but meth is enough on it's own.
What kind of numb? Have you ever had coke? If so you should have enough clues to tell you if it is actually coke.
whatever it is, mix it with a dry cut so you can rail it easily.

amphetamine base could be one of those things...
i think the only way you can know anything about what you took is to buy a drug test at your local pharmacy, go home, and test yourself
if nothing shows, may be methcat, may be research chems, might even be dads bunion meds

Yeah, I have had coke, its hard to tell the difference between the numbness of coke and the stuff i had over the weekend, except the stuff i had this weekend, gave me a numbness, but not to the extent of what coke did (the one time i rubbed it into my gums...).

It's impossible to know, you have a better chance of coming to a conclusion than we do. It could be an impurity, solvent impurity (an oil), solvent, the strong bitterness that's producing a sensation your identifying as numbness.
An oil will create numbness, an alcohol will create numbness...but the alcohol would have removed the oil, and the alcohol would have evaporated by the time it got to you, but it can remain in the crystal lattice of the meth in TINY quantities that I doubt you would note.
Wait, when you rubbed it on your gum, was the numbness only very local to where you rubbed it, or did the numbness spread around to other areas of the gum and/or mouth?

PhreeX, why do you suggest the acetone being ice cold for this chief?
With the acetone washing don't even bother unless you have ATLEAST a full gram of crank. Use a small glass or ceramic container to do it in aswell to avoid to much mechanical loses when pouring off(decanting) the acetone and acetone soluble impurities.

Simple - I suggest ice cold acetone as it really helps limit the amount of drug that passes through...
For the clueless (not you simple, I mean about 98.9% of everyone else here) .. the IDIOTS GUIDE TO WASHING METH ..
Ok, it's easy, methamphetamine hydrochloride is not soulable in acetone [SOULABLE = will disolve in].. it seems to help if that acetone is ice cold, I dunna, some have said it's an urban mtyh but I go keep a can of acetone in me freezer! (well, I used to)... now, acetone can be bought anywhere that sells paint (Wal-Mart, Home Depot, etc...) .. here is how it goes:
1) Take a funnel and some filter paper - ie coffee filters ... you put the filters in the funnel and pour in your meth/shitty crank into it, put the filter setup over a glass jar...
2) Take yer ice colde acetone and pour it through the crank - re[eat the process a few times.... the shit will disolve andwhats left is yer meth ..
