Hi everyone.

I have been taking microdoses of Iboga over the past two weeks. I recently got a sample of methoxetamine from a friend, and I was was wondering if there is any danger in trying it at this point. Do SSRI's or any of the other alkaloids in Iboga interfere with the effects of the mxe?

I've been told I have to wait at least a couple weeks to take an MAOI (I know mxe isn't an MAOI). I don't want to risk it if it is potentially dangerous.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm finished microdosing for now.. I'm just wondering how long I have to be off of the Iboga before I can safely take the mxe.

curious about the wait-time between microdosing and taking MXE.

also, anybody know about mixing caapi with MXE?

Hmmm, Ibogaine is a very serious and coplex drug and methoxetamine is an extreemly new drug with very little information available about it. I would say you should wait atleast two weeks after your last ibogaine dose to try it. and furthermore, if you were taking ibogaine to combat some kind of addiction, getting into methoxetamine might be a bad idea. This is a pretty peculiar question though!

...

To the OP,
I'm not familiar with methoxetamine.

In the thread you described it as 'iboga'...
Are you talking the total alkaloid or ibogaine hcl? If it's the total alkaoid you may need to consider other alkaloid (ibogamine, ibogaline etc..) interactions, which there is very little information about.

You said "microdoses", how much iboga were you taking and what were the effects? Why were you taking it?

I surely wouldn't recommend you combine these, but if you do.. I'd like to see an experience report. Let me know.

A good place to start if you want to figure this out yourself would be taking a look at the biological half-life of the former substance.
To Defconic, does biological half-life include the half-life of metabolites?

Because something to consider is ibogaine's long lasting active metabolite 'noribogaine' and its possible interactions.
