i write cheesy poems :(

I don't write much poetry cuz it always turns out really cheesy whenever i try. What do ya think??
you were a stranger at the time, but when you closed your eyes that night you scared me,
"should we wake him??" i asked.
"nah it's ok he'll be fine," they said.
he always parties hard... like superman
i prayed that you'd wake up and when your eyes finally fluttered and then opened, i couldn't help but smile.
"look at those eyes she makes at him," they said and i blushed.
funny they knew, before i did... the shy girl fell for you on that night.
i've stopped blushing... now i can look in your eyes and say love you.
