i wont cry tonight

walking back home,
getting the odd phone calls,
i smile and sigh, i've left my past life behind
today i was able to let go,
to the deamons in my head,
now i can say 'no'
the thoughts will no longer haunt me in my dreams
as past incidents are not as significant as they seemed.
tonight i will close my eyes and smile,
as living life has become worthwhile.
i will not cry tonight,
as i know it's gonna be ok
i will not cry tonight, cause tomorrow is going to be a better day.
