I was on suboxone for eight years but decided to come off. I did a slow tapper, all under the care of a suboxone doctor, and was down to 1mg, maybe less. So I was completly off it for five days when I relapsed and took 4mgs. Two hours after taking my dose I suddenly started sweating,sick to my stomach ,felt like i was going to pass out then ended up vomiting. Could this have happened because i took to much suboxone since i tapered down to such a low dose? How long will the sick stomach last if this was from taking too much?

It is possible for a dose like that too be way too much if you cut down to next to nothing. If its the subs making you sick from taking too much then it can take 1-3 days before you feel 100% again because of their long action. Depending on when you last used you may be experiencing PWD from the suboxone "ripping the heroin off the receptors" Its slightly more complicated then that but thats basically what it does. Just try to keep hydrated and time will heal you. I am sorry you are experiencing this but neither an OD of 4mg or PWD is deadly so in the end you will be ok.
