Can somebody point me in the right direction?

Specifically I want to learn about investment in properties, speculation, development, etc. But you start off small I guess, so I'm just looking for the basics at the moment.

Perhaps a class at the Community College? Textbooks or Investing for Dummies (whatever its called) might be good. When I got interesting in investing I went down to the library, checked out a bunch of books and whatever seemed relevant.

btw, even if you got a PhD in finance, you still wouldn't know EVERYTHING ;)

read some milton friedman. read some keynes. read some marxs.

go take community college course.

run a business.

gamble away your money on the market.

Nothing at all in life is guaranteed except death and taxes, and I'm not 100% convinced of the latter despite paying them every single year. The best way to learn about investing is to start doing it.
