Ideas.
I live with her and she just like bought this new house.

I work a lot and would like to do something nice.
Our relationship has been suffering because of my alcoholism and drug use, and I would like to do something.

So yeah...:D:? :? :? :?

Yeah, we go out a lot. We both can afford it kind of so when it happens it's special but like....
th something original ^is actually down upside down slknfledkwfn

I dunno, I wanna come up with something original. heh

Well not original but this:

make her a coupon book. sounds lame but you can do like 8 coupons like:

~ cut her grass
~ make her dinner
~ wash her car

etc...

really tho, the best gift you can give her is to be sober.

and I would like to do something.

So do something. Don't buy her a gift.. anyone can do that. You say she's got a new house.. there must be a few things that could do with some repair or upgrading, work on those if you can. Or make her something. Like for example my mother is a country girl and she would love homemade raspberry jam or some kind of food stuff like that. I saved her £60 in car repairs the other day by fitting a new air vent guide for example. Or just mopping the floor.. either one she still really appreciated.

Stop drinking and taking drugs
x.x
thanks

my mom works a lot.
not sure what to do with that.
ideas?

she holds on to my money so i can't really take her out.
i dunno, I'm gonna find something.

I guess a lot of this (a lot, not all) has to do with me wanting to improve my relationship with her.
Working on that though. hm....

How about a personalised gift of some type? Anything from a cushion to a necklace :) etsy has so many options these days. I hope this helps :)

Why not make her a big scrapbook full of memories and photos. Wrap it nicely and hand it to her with some nice flowers and make her some lovely home made food, set the table all lovely with candles etc.

Tell her how much she means to you.

Baking or cooking is always awesome. :) If she has money, then usually things that involve you taking TIME to do something is nicer.
You could take her out to eat or to something going on in your city (I'm not sure what kind of events there are.... I mean if there is a festival she might be into... there are often food/drink festivals in my area anyway). Maybe something like a museum... I'm not sure what she is into LOL just thinking of some random ideas.
Helping her with the house would also be amazing. Just doing some fixing up around the house? Maybe some gardening?
