Id like to be a tattoo artist. Im quite skillfull at drawing things people describe, directly copying pictures just by looking at them, creating my own designs ect... What steps would i take to become a tattoo artist? What classes and/or courses could i take to help me toward my goal? ~anything helps

I would put together a portfolio of my work and start hitting up tattoo shops. I'm pretty sure you will have to spend a while as an apprentice which prolly means sweeping floors and generally cleaning up the shop for little pay in exchange for training on how to ink people.

You need to start a portfolio. Also then find a tattoo artist who will give you an apprenticeship. They will want to see your artwork and then maybe show them what else you can possibly draw (their suggestions). They will want to see paintings, shading, pencil, charcoal and pen. You will also need a few thousand for an apprenticeship.

Good luck, I'm working now and going to save money for an apprenticeship. Go to a reputable artist and not one who charges the cheapest. The guy I might go to is charging 5k.

By the way apprenticeships do cost money and on top of it you don't get paid and they still make you do bitch work around the shop.

airbrushing is very much alike using the tat gun. master it, and you'll do fine.
