they are insanely addictive to certain people. For me, they are more addicting than opiates. The dependence is much worse as well.

If i had 100mg alpraz powder i'd black myself out several times over that is how benzo recreational use goes. Don't be too worried it'll take daily use for him to be physically dependent, about a month straight.

btw your friend may have no idea what happened at all, so cut him some slack
 
in terms of taking it safely..

dissolve your 50mg in 50mL of propylene glycol (alprazolam isn't water soluble), then use a syringe (w/out the needle) to measure your dosage. 1mL = 1mg. as long as you know the ratio of solute to solvent then u can safely dose using this method. i opted for a 1 to 1 ratio to explain this for clarity. be safe
 
right. daily dosing is what to look out for. i think i've read that after at least a week (maybe 2 or 3) of constant use you'll start feeling the worst withdrawals ever. i've never tried alprazolam myself, i really fucking want to though. i just got to careful that i don't blacks out for a week then die on it. easier than it sounds
 
Yeah...benzos can be really, really addictive. As RR said they can be more so than opiates (I had so much more trouble with xanax than with heroin) and the addiction is a nightmare, as is quitting since it can be fatal.
You need to talk to your friend about this asap before he gets too deep into it. 100mg could certainly last him plenty long enough to get addicted.
 
Thanks for the info. I'll try to find some propylene glycol, more worried about the syringe but I'll find a way. Seems like the safest way to measure out the correct dosage. I didn't realize benzos could be that addictive either
 
They can be extremely addictive. Im quitting for the 3rd time after extened use. Im 25.

Go to the pharmacist and ask for a free oral syringe they use them for liquid based infant medicine like fever reducers etc also the prop glyc can be typically found in cooking supplies sections it is a cooking based solvent

I cosign this 100%. Four years ago I was on klonopin for anxiety. I would take 2mg in the morning and 2mg at night. Anyway, my doctor was being investigated for something and I decided to stop seeing him. A few days off the kpins I had a seizure at a red light and crashed into a telephone pole. The car was totaled and I didn't remember a thing.
