I sit and wonder

Where is God today?
People are dying,
and i sit here suffering...
The world has gone to shit
and I can't escape my reality
I want to swallow my worries,
and those of the world.
My problems pale in comparison
to those of the next.
Yet, they consume me.
They rip me apart.
I can't sleep.
I can't shut my mind off.
So where is God today?
I sit and wonder
and sob and cry
and hurt and ache..
Does it all happen for a reason?
What the fuck is the reason?
I sit and wonder,
just like the rest of the world
who wonder the same thing
