I remember a time..
When each day was so long.
My life was a big playground,
My life a pleasant song.
I fluttered through all these years,
With barely a care.
Ignoring what my future could hold,
Not knowing what was there.
As a child..
My biggest concern was just me.
I had to be happy,
I had to be free.
As I grow up, some things are dark,
Not like anything before.
The love starts to die,
And my strong heart hits the floor.
People are beginning to change..
We need to remember to care, to feel.
And no matter what happens,
Always help others heal.

I wish everything stayed the same sometimes but change good or bad is the only way to grow and, If it don't kill ya(even if it does hurt alot) it only makes ya stronger. Thanks for the replies everyone. I write a lot of poetry, but at this time of the week, with everything that has happened, I have been thinking about how shit changes right in front of your eyes, but you can't do anything to stop it. You hope things don't, but really, hope it really pointless because its just an imaginary act. I know I have all my fellow bluelighters to talk to and fall back on and I love you guys for that. *Try and keep the PLUR alive everyone.
