I just started iving meth a couple of months ago. My veins seem to bust really easy cause they are very small. Can someone with more experience give me some advice.

What do you mean by your veins "bust" easily? Where are you injecting? Are you certain you're hitting a vein and not skin popping? If you share what your exact procedure is for IVing and the symptoms you're experiencing, you will be able to get better advice.

Put the meth in a spoon add water and pull it up through cotton. i tie off my arm and hang it below my waist for a couple of seconds then find a vein and put the needle in register and untie my tie off generally i have to f go a little deeper to find the vein again i register it again and slowly start to push in the plunger i would say 6 out of 10 shots i would feel an instant burn and the site turns bluish i assume i am busting the vein Im not real sure no one has really showed or taught me anything about it except for what they offer online for information which has been very helpful but doesn't help much with small veins

Sounds like the problem is that the needle's slipping out after you untie requiring you to make a new hole, or if it's not, you're poking through the vein entirely when you go deeper to register again. Possibly both. Are you not able to keep the needle in place while untying? You should only have to place the needle once, ideally. Move it around as little as possible.

Which vein(s) are you hitting, i.e. where exactly on your arm? What size & kind of needles do you use?

Start running and doing pushups regularly. Not only will your veins be an easier target, but they will last much longer. I used IV to administer BTH for 2 years, only losing one vien in the process.

There is an amazing read on bluelight all about safe IV practice. Follow it and your body will thank you!

If you feel any burning STOP IMMEDIATELY. It most likely means you're not in the vein. I've never felt any sort of burning while injecting.

No im not already tweeked out and shaking. I've been trying the veins in my forearms and inside my elbows mostly. I've been using 31 gauge 1/2in 1cc needles. i have to refind the vein after i untie cause my veins go back down. Im not the only person who has this trouble hitting me. I've had some seasoned users try and they get part of the shot in and then the miss and instant blue spot.

I have tiny veins too, and I don't tie off unless I have assistance. I have my own technique that acts as a tourniquet but doesn't involve so much jostling. I cross my legs and put the arm I want to inject into between my legs, squeezing my legs together until my wrist veins bulge. I almost always use the vein on the side of my wrist, about an inch below my thumb/base of my hand. Once you've registered just relax your legs, then shoot. If you keep your hand and wrist still you shouldn't slip out.

I also do a few one armed push-ups against the wall with the arm I plan to inject into. Make sure you're warm and drink plenty of water.

I have tiny roll away veins too. I've only shot twice, but i found its easier for me to hit in my thigh or in my breast. Also take a washrag n put it in water as hot as u can stand it. Wring it out n put over the crook of your elbow or where ever you're gonna try to hit. Fleshy areas hurt less.

@ OP: I'm assuming you're referring to the femoral vein near the groin, and you should never suggest using the femoral vein for IV administration. It's too risky to hit there and not go into the artery. As suggested before, hot water will dilate your veins a little bit making them a little meatier and easier to get into. It also helps to check several times by pushing down on the vein so that you know exactly where you want to enter and what path you need the needle to follow so that it stays in the vein. And like someone said before, if you feel a burning, you're more than likely missing the shot. I am glad that you know to loosen the tourniquet before pushing down the plunger though. I've had someone hit me without doing so, and got lucky my vein didn't collapse.

hot water helps a lot. used to do that for my ex fiance with her tiny veins. baths, showers, "hot hands" hand warmers, all of those help. you're using a good syringe size which will help minimize damage to your veins. your technique seems good overall, just need to refine it to your own body a bit more.

No the one i used was on the lower half of my thigh n on the outer side of my leg, srry wasnt more specific. I have Irish pale skin so with the help of a hot washrag i can make any part of my body look like a road map.
