Ok, I know I just posted, but I have another question that I have really been meaning to ask. I started college this fall (at a smaller, highly academic school near Los Angeles), and since I've gotten here I haven't met anyone who does any sort of drugs other than blaze occasionally. Do you guys think that it is possible that no one here does meth? I'm assuming that some people must, and if so, how the hell can I figure out who it is (besides the really obvious signs, of course)? Thanks for your help.
 
There are several threads about this. Your best bet is going to a "rave" and meeting the party kids. They are the ones doing meth. From them you will discover the hardcore methaddicts that don't do anything but meth. And so forth.. Do a search.
 
Yeah, I understand what you are saying, and before when I was lurking I read a couple of those. However, what I was really curious about was whether or not you think that there is a good chance that there are actually kids doing it on campus? I mean, how prevalent do you think meth is and what are the chances it would be on my boring-ass campus in some closet-tweaker's room? Thanks for the advice on the raves.
 
Stimulants are fairly popular for studying. I'd bet money that there are a bunch of kids using ritalin, amphetamine, and possibly methamphetamine to help them concentrate, stay up late and study. Now, how you'll meet these kids? I don't know. They aren't getting all spun off it, they are using it responsibly to study. So your not going to beable to tell them apart from anyone else. You might want to ask around and see if someone can give you something to "help you study", maybe someone will offer you an amphetamine of some sort.
 
Yes! It's certain there are at least a few stimulant (ab)users at your school. There will likely be a fair bit of Ritalin and Adderall, and some meth somewhere. In fact, if your school has many chemistry graduate students in it, it's probable that at least one of them is manufacturing their own methamphetamine.... but you might be hard-pressed to get find them.
What you need to be doing is meeting a lot of people, and preferably not in the Bible Study group where you all get together and sing Kumbaya. You also need to let it slip that you are interested in drugs, or at least stims. The people who are using these things to stay and work--at least the ones that will talk to you--are also going to be the recreational drug users, though it may not be obvious. Trust me, I have met many people I believed to be complete nerds/squares who later turned out to be drug users, and I'm sure they thought the exact same thing of me. I passed up a lot of good hookups this way. Hell, just make jokes about it occasionally, or talk about drugs in a third-person way. This will clue people in that you're cool, and they will eventually bring it up. Once you've met one guy, you're probably set.
Incidentally, is your school in Orange County or LA County?

studying on amphetamines is cheating, i am bitter at you.
when people here actually talked to me i was highly open about drugs - but i tended to get asked first. (musta looked like a crackhead, what with the big pants and such.)

oh, someday you'll learn what "academic" means.
so you get to talking about meth. getting meth.
yes, people use meth to study. this is because academia in general is sick, twisted and hopelessly obsolete. they would really like you to fail (probably because someone wanted them to fail 30 years ago and they couldnt get over it), and they will try hard to make you fail.
one of their weapons is sleep deprivation.
your shield will be meth.
tweakers shouldnt be hard to find. look for ravers, obviously, or any subculturalists.
 
I was in the same situation you were at the beginning of this semester. I'm off at some engineering school in bumblefuck missouri, where people drive around with gun racks on their trucks and KKK bumperstickers. Anyway, St. Louis is about 100 miles east of here, so on the weekends I usually head up there to party. You mentioned that your school was around LA. Never been there myself, but we're talking about one of the biggest cities in the US, and where theres people, theres drugs. If you can't find anybody on campus, why don't you find a few parties in LA and hang around those, i'm sure you can muster up something....
 
I haven't seen any meth at my university but I'm sure you could easily find people with ritalin or adderall. Just look around no one really has any reason to hide it. Ask and you shall receive.
 
So are you just looking for some tweakers to hang out with our is this just a hookup deal?
 
I dunno if its where your from but I heard about a meth lab getting busted at harvey mudd like a year or two ago.
 
Hundreds of methlabs are busted all over the country a year. I'm sure a methlab near him has been busted before, whats your point?
 
First off, my school is in LA county, and, lol, pretty close to Harvey Mudd also. Yeah, I know to look for ravers or whatever, but I swear to God that these are the most naive and wholesome kids in the entire world. I've dropped a couple of references, and either they are not picked up at all or people have no idea what the hell I'm talking about. I haven't even met anyone who has done more than blaze, and only a few people have even done that. Also, I don't really want to use meth to study, but rather to have a, uh, "good" time, lol. I guess that means I am looking for a hook-up and/or fellow tweakers. And you don't get the euphoria from adderall or ritalin, right?

Go to some raves then and meet some tweakers. Most college kids arne't going to be the real big tweaker addicts, as that pretty much destroys your ability to function in school.
 
Well his question was intitially do we think it is possible no one here does meth. Now it stands to reason that if there is a meth lab on campus someone is doing meth no? While I of course have no idea where he is actually going to school if I provide examples of other academic schools in his area with factual proof of meth usage one would tend to conclude someone was using meth at his school.
Unless you go to LIFE bilbe I will virtually guarantee that someone somewhere is doing meth.
You could always head down to a rave at the cadillac they sell everything there.
 
Actually I knew a few when I was an undergrad... as long as you stay on the tweek, you get a lot done. Hell, one guy I knew got a BS/MS in four years while being addicted.
Adderall is lots of fun, not quite as good as meth -- but I wouldn't feel too horrible with only straight amphetamine. As people have said a raver club would probably do you, though obviously someone at your school is much more convenient. It may take some work and asking around, though Riverside is supposed to be the "meth capital of the world." I don't really have any other ideas.
You don't seem comfortable posting your school name (I don't blame you, I'm not either) so why don't you send me an e-mail and let me know where you go to school? I know some people who go to some LA-area colleges and I am wondering if maybe you know them. It's a small world.

Methanfelony -- Ritalin is not really euphoric, no. Adderall is to some extent, and Dexedrine is pretty decent. But not even Dexedrine is as good as meth -- though you could still have a decently fun time on it. It might take some time, just keep looking, there is tons of meth in your area. you just gotta find it.

There are TOO MANY people doing meth in that area. Just watch for jaw clenching ;)
