i just poked for the frist time myself and need advice...

hi i just banged a 12 hydromophine in my hand...my second time ever being poked.....i drew back and blood came in the sryinge aso i went with it...didnt really catch a buz and now its kinda swelled up and if i smacked my hand lightly the rest of my hand goes red but the injection site goes white in about a half a inch diamter...should i be worried??im freakin at my self so bad right now.....i told my self i would never have done nedles but im at the point where im just not getting high anymore...mabey off a patch i catch a nod but i could do 8 80s in a row and not get high...think im going to go to detox...i feel like a idiot talking about this....... and allso the frist time i did poke tonight i dida 8 and didnt catch a buzz...buddy said that should have floored me...

If you're not getting high from eight 80's I think it's time to turn in.

dont be worried, that isnt going to do much..;-)

be aware though, id take it easy for a good 10-12 hours, and see what happens with the injection sight - it should start bruising soon, and swell some more - thats just your body doing what it needs to. if it were to become a problem like phlebitis etc. youll know, that would take several days to develop, become all apparent, and very painful. if something like that, a vein infection starts, please, go to your PCP or the ER and spare you hand arm or life.

all youll have to do is take anti-biotics for 10-15 days.

maybe wrap your hand up with a warm wet towel, and keep it level with your heart.

Just sounds like u got ur vein then maybe shifted the pik that little bit, a missed shot IMO, but if shit gets worse then id advise a trip to the hospital just for safteys sake.
