I have procured the illusive Desoxyn script

as well as Dexedrine IR (made by Barr, yuck) and Dexedrine XR (made by GSK, yay!). I've had three Dex sources for just over one year. Only took me about 6 months to convert one of the dexedrine scripts into desoxyn. My physician had heard of neither. I had this long discussion with her about the L vs the D, and with my past issues with cholesterol, the last thing I needed was PNS garabage.

This is my first post on the Big Blue, although I have used this board for over a year for sourcing info on a variety of things. I have combed through all of your posts (yes, all of you. Every last one. jk), searched on this topic, that topic, and I just wanted to say thank you. Your (the general bluelight populace) harm reduction info has more then likely added years to my life.

Quick backstory: used to insufflate N-methyl-1-phenylpropan-2-amine like 15 yrs ago. Stopped doing that along with everything for about 12 yrs( I stopped cause I ran outta money and got bored with it). Dabbled a little into hydro starting about 4-5 yrs ago, but didn't like what was starting to happen after about 4 yrs , namely the begining of withdrawls. So, remembering that I always enjoyed the upper side of life more than the downer, I went online and typed "Can adderall help with opiate withdrawl" and the rest is history. Back to tweaker land I went, only this time I had knowledge. And that is dangerous, makes you think you're in control and by the time you realize you're not, it's usually very difficult. Now I'm heading into Johnny Cashland with a daily tolerance of between 75mg-150mg per day, depending on what I feel like and what I need to get done.

I decided to make my first topic on desoxyn, since it seems rather elusive, and no new topics appear in the search engine. (trust me, I've looked under every possible keyword combo)

Now, we've all heard the problem. It happened to me. I first got scripted it back in Feb and I was all giddy with expectation as I chalked it up and prepared to rail 25mgs. HA . . . . .ha . . . . . . .haaaaaaaaaa............So fooled was I. So I thought, maybe it's the tolerance I already have to d-amps which at that time was around 80ishmg a day.

Fast forward to today. I'm slamming dexedrine, both the ir and the xr. I have a rather unique yet tedious way of extraction and yeeees, it includes a 0.2 wheel filter. Over the past 48 hours, I've slammed around 350-400mg of methamphetamine HCL that had been extracted from the Desoxyn. Now, back in the day when I used to indulge, it was crank. low grade meth right, but it sure blasted me off and had me up tweaking hard off of a gram and that was generally shared.

Here's my question: Assuming that the trailer-park-manufactured-orange-peel-bathtub-battery acid crap I used to take was AT THE BEST 50% pure, that would be 500mg of methamphetamine. And 120 desoxyn pills at 5mg/pill is 600mg.

I should have the same euphoria I've had in the past with the crank, but while it's ok, it's nothing near that and still not quite as cool as my Dex.

What gives with my man Desoxyn here? Is it the amphetamine tolerence? PErhaps the crank/low grade crystal was racemic? I hate the L isomer and the euphoria ain't coming from that.

Thoughts amigos?

While Desoxyn is 'the holy grail', because its technically methamphetamine many people still prefer Dexedrine becaue Desoxyn comes in such low doses. Its hard to bang or snort 15-20 5mg pills.

Its often used to treat Narcolepsy I read somewhere.

I doubt anything is wrong with your script.

I just don't understand the need to shoot if hes complaining about tolerance. Big no brainer. Quit shooting pills. Safely or not. You do it to yourself.

There isn't anything wrong with your script. You are not tweaking as hard as you think because its not made in a bathtub, and you said yourself you've never had anything but powdered street dope correct? I'm not being a dick, but its the truth. Desoxyn isn't wouldn't be anymore or not much more than Dexedrine strength really. At Least from what I've read.

and what is the biggest Dexedrine comes in? 15mg I thought. To MY knowledge they make 5 and 10 instant release only by barr in the us currently? if not tell me what else and if its better....And desoxyn is dosed the same way minus the 15mg.....to my knowledge
 
He heeds to shoot because his tolerance has gotten through the roof I believe?

The needle also has it's own compulsion due to its instantaneous ROA that can be hard to understand for those who don't IV. The OP has stated he is using a .2ug Micron Filter which makes what he's doing much safer.

Telling someone to quit shooting pills, when they themselves stated that they need to put the needle down is a little redundant. I understand you were only trying to look out for the OP's best interest though.

yes I've seen it but WHY. Makes little to no sense. . . But here's an update and I think maybe some hardcore chemtweakers on ADD would be able to confirm. It has seemed over the last four days that the more removed I got from the dexedrine, the longer and better the desoxyn became. Took the last of the dex sunday morning and the desoxyn I injested earlier today, wednesday, seemed to be a lot better.

could just be my imagination then. Anyways, there is something to be said for subligual ROA. Really underrated IMO and seems like just the ticket for Desoxyn
 
i want some desoxyn so then i can start smoking crystal and not get fired. i just got adderall for now.

It would definitely be safer to IV street crystal than 10-? however many pills of Desoxyn. Especially if the product you were getting was of the same status of Walter White's (pun intended) product which is 100%.
 
this question eludes me too.
if street meth and pharmaceutical grade meth are basically of the same chemical composition, why the fuck would street meth bring on a far greater euphoria? certainly bathtub adulterants wouldn't have much of a psychological effect..

exactly my friend. It's a mystery. Binders/fillers vs. chilli powder/adulterants aren't going to make or break the d-methamphetamine. It just doesn't make sense. The inacive ingredients of Desoxyn don't seem like much of anything to block or stop the mechanism of it's active ingredient.

corn starch, lactose, sodium paraminobenzoate, talc. That's it.

It's got to be something to do with the amp tolerence. From the accounts I've read from folks where Desoxyn sucked, those folks were switched from adderall or dexedrine. However, I do remember reading other accounts on Erowid or somewhere that people were saying how awesome it was recreationally. However, in many of those accounts, I took notice that they had little to no amp tolerance of any kind.

Or, I could be mistaken. Maybe iodine is the key? :)
