what exactly are/were purple microdots?? I have not taken any since about 1982-83, and they were claimed to be mescaline..They were much speedier/"hard" than LSD....Are they still around?? Please enlighten me as to what these were....I remember takingone in homeroom junior year, by second period I got up and walked out of class, and started walking home, by the time I got home[bout an hour], I was tripping my ass off..I stayed in my room in the basement all day andnight and stayed home the next day..what a wild trip that was!!!!

Perhaps they were a dimethoxy amphetamine like DOB, DOI, or DOM. One thing's for sure, though, its impossible to fit a dose of mescaline into a microdot-- so they definitely weren't mescaline.

Quite hard for us to give any type of answer on that question though, all we can really do is speculate.

I was reading the forum rules, if this post is inappropriate, I apologize. A little research at erowid confirms what Roger said, and it was most likely LSD I had, as the very small size/weight doesn't leave much lse that is active in such a smalldose. Can anyone confirm LSD coming in this form??I have a good bit of experience with LSD[in the late 80's] and do not recall anything but blotter, liquid, and gel....Dots wee around quite a bit where I grew up[North jersey, in the 70's and 80's....at this point any info anycould give would be good[I'm no longer concerned with the what did I take aspect...]

Likely LSD; I wouldn't think they had DOx's floating around in microdots back then like we have them on blotter today. I think that's a fairly recent phenomenon besides for the DOM pink triangles called STP in 1967 San Fran.

Anyways, yeah LSD can come in microdots; not so much anymore but they did back then for sure.

This is a "What Should I Take thread" and of course this is all speculation.
