Anyways all my usual links were dry or wouldn't get back to me. Finally I get the number of some guy who wont give me his address but he's trying to give me directions. Finally I get his address (the directions were completely useless I would have ended up somewhere else). Anyways I make the purchase thats cool, I get home and inspect what I bought, its pretty leafy but whatever.

So tonight i go to break up one of the buds, and it feels almost moist. It wasn't cured correctly or whatever and its like they just pulled this shit off the plant.

How can I dry this out myself?

best way is to let it dry naturally by either hanging it up somehow or just let it sit out in the open. but the quickest way is to or the way i do it when im in a rush when i get shit weed is to place it a decent distance away from a heater, on that heater put it on the absolute lowest setting otherwise the thc will start to evaporate because it had gotten to warm. some people perfer a dark aired out place (cold and air gets circulated to dry it out) those are just some suggestions. id smoke some of it and let the rest dry out.

yeah thats what i plan thanks i'll just leave it out for however long it takes i guess.

Usually just leave the baggie on the kitchen counter with it open, it dries out pretty quickly.

You may have thought of this, but you could cook it into butter or something... then the moisture wouldn't matter

If you have desiccant, you could leave it in a sealed jar in it's bag with the dessicant outside the bag... it would suck up the moisture.

you got beat, people selling for money bug me cause their ego gets too wrapped up in it. Cannabis care takers who care about you as a person and treat the plant as god's gift are great, they may deal cannabis legally so please keep them in mind too.

Dry it naturally, the weed will suck if you rush it with a heater. Just buy some new stuff and let this dry for two weeks, then let it sit in a mason jar for another two. If you really wanna do it quick look up watercuring on google.

If I need to dry it fast and relatively safely (without destroying too much THC), I use the following method:

You need a dinner plate, a stove, a metal pot filled with water and ofc weed.

First of all, take as much weed as you plan on smoking for that day/night and have it cut/shred to small pieces (the smaller, the faster the process will be). Place it on top of a dinner plate, I use ceramic ones because that's all I have.

Put the metal pot on the stove so that the water starts boiling and steaming a bit. Then simply place the dinner plate on top of the metal pot and wait, it won't take long for the steam to heat up the plate to somewhere near 100 degress celsius, effectively drying your weed quite fast without destroying much THC in the process.

The taste is definately better when compared to microwave dried weed, which I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

They say one picture tells more than a thousand words, so I staged a picture hehe =D.

The yellow stuff is supposedly representing a tiny amount of dried weed.

^^^ Nice tek bro, the water will make sure that it does not go above a certain temperature (whatever the temperature of evaporating water)

HAHA and the pic is great, what is that yellow stuff anyways? And you named it dinnertime.jpg. Hilarious.

I certainly wouldn't recommend microwaving weed.

It is true, if you grind it up it will dry faster. However it will also lose potency faster in storage thus that's why FnX suggested only grind up and dry the amount you will smoke that evening

So you bought a bag off a guy you've never been to before without inspecting it? heh..

Well it was really dark, and the guy who referred me to him is very legit, I assumed it would be similar quality. Plus i haven't smoked in a couple months, i was pretty happy just to have it.

Its not that much worse from the regular mids I buy, just a little leafier then usual. Im letting it dry in the open, hopefully this shouldn't take too long.

if you didn't get very much you could throw it in a paper bag and throw it in your oven for like 10-15 @ around 170 F. It will be a little more harsh, and would be better if properly dried/cured... but if it's really urgent, then go with my method.

putting paper bags/bud inside a heated oven doesn't sound like the smartest way to dry moist nugs...

If its not totally wet, put it in a brown paper bag for a day then into a mason jar opening it everyday.

oh, and remember that by drying it out, you're going to significantly decrease the weight of your ganj'.

I would put one of those plastic things that come in a pill bottle (or sometimes it's a little paper pillow-type thing that says "do not eat") in the baggie. It will draw out the moisture and you don't have to worry about temperature.

i never would've thought to do that.
