okay, i wrote this about a year and a half ago. it was posted under puck, perhaps some of you know him. any way, let's shall....
individual controlled by individual thought, one of the masses i am not. turn and yell "find yourself. maybe it sounded like "kill yourself" 'cause they've got a thousand viles of jokes and laughs.
the ocean can lie
seas of braindead tuna crowd me
diving toward the ocean floor
to show me the way
i grasp at a rubber boat, my savior
only to find the air depleating
punctured by a bee in 5 places
wind does not blow here
storms there are none-
if there was such peril
i might expect a watery grave
yet here i am... just..floating
Hey! don't i know that bee
didn't he once sting me!....
..
.a dolphin cries
beautiful full voice
easily mistaken for one of my kind.
speaks pure truth as he pulls me away from here
cutting through crystal water minds become one
glide on a sunset of calm intoxication
i only glimpse back once
now, fallen in love with the perfect creature
risk of sacrafice proof of his
talk and chatter through to the night
learn everything we can
in sunshine moonbeams
i am lulled to sleep by his clicks and cries
the sound so familiar.
he says he's taking me somewhere
...somewhere safe
in the morning i find myself deposited on a beach surrounded by inbred cannibals
no dolphin in sight
"humm, i guess i misunderstood again, i guess we didn't speak the same language"
...suddenly i lose my voice.
oh much fun to remember something as old as this one. thanx for the space. nellie
