I fear myself

Sometimes I wonder if
people recognise my existence
my hard work doesnt seem to
pay off nor does my persistence
Feel trapped in a race
thats too bigger distance
from reaching the end
are you my friend?
Are you with me by my side
or just taking me for a ride
like the rest
i get stressed
Think back nevertheless I try
keep these thoughts of mine
inspired from my head to the paper
my pen as my wire
Connected
if im wrong I stand corrected
I once was lost but now
im resurected, look on
Feel stronger
time splits I sit
a vote to be counted
more than a decision
My words cut
like a sharp knife
its all about precision
I dont lack bite, ive got ambition
With my words
im instillin family values
with people
that once seemed shallow
Refined
I keep it short,sweet and narrow
I dont need to explain
because you can see my aims
I look to the bigger picture
the spectrum of the future
feel my life as a feature
im in fear.
