Tryptamines I don't take psychedelics, I AM psychedelic..

Have any long-term trippers found the psychedelic version of themselves becomes more and more a part of their ordinary sober character? More good humoured, gentle, forgiving etc? Does it seem to benefit the most positive parts of your character?

Yes, but only because I've known the experience.

But I suppose it's also about where you are in society.

Or are you the same pathetic bastard you always were?

I fear the worst.

Another aspect of a psychedelic being comes from psychosis. Three occasions I rebuilt my mind to the specifications of my desire. When you ain't got nothing going on upstairs you can test various avenues of thought processing, what have you got to lose, you're already too far over the rainbow to become normal again, whatever that means.
In 2005 from an overdose I picked up pieces of myself to function again and did away with paranoia, fear and anxiety by enmeshing myself in situations that caused me discomfort.
My point is, psychedelics open the door of reflection and as a third-party onlooker You can choose what you want to be or at least you are given the ability to choose the rest of your life.
Knowledge of self and the ability to choose liberates you from outside influences, now that you can see and understand these things.

I don't want to go to rehab baby, no, no, no

ergo my personality is self limiting,
but my character is destructive to those who are in rehab, so I better never go there.
some of those people are great friends and relatives, damn.
