ive been testing pills for around a year, and i still can never really tell what the result is..
theres the obvious black purple result, but i can never really be sure whether im seeing some grey in there or not. camn somebody provide a picture of a DXM testing? or a video?
and what about testing a pill, having it turn purple instantly, then leaving it for a long time, and having some green turn up?
my point is, that the green was not there for around ten minutes, and who actually leaves the mixing chemicals for ten minutes? i myself leave it for around five minutes max...
refer to my post in AUS DRUG DISCUSSION 2001 for more info, but the particular pill, a white butterfly, was proved to have OMO WASHINGMACHINE detergent in it. does the EZ tester pick up these chemicals? should i be leaving the mixing for half an hour to reveal even more colours and chemicals? is there any other way to determine what may be in pills?

Your should observe the colour change usually prevelant in the first 10 seconds. Sometimes it can take a bit longer (like maybe 20 seconds) depending on the density and type of binders and fillers.
DXM will fizzel and go grey to black. Think of it black being many layers of grey of grey to make black.
MDMA goes purple to black. Think of it being many layers of deep purple to go black.
You can sometimes get gas and fizzing (by the escaping gas) from the more pure MDMA pills. The same goes with most substances (like speed for example).
After a period of time the mixture will go an green/olive colour, this is the reagent reacting with air/dust/whatever. This happens to all tests. Test a few substances at once and leave them all overnight, you will notice they will be mainly olive.
I read your post in Aus DD forum and still wonder how they narrowed it down to a particular brand of washing powder that managed to enter the system undigested. Common sense would say that the variety of substances that you would blood test someone that went to the hospital because of an OD/bad reaction would not include OMO. Then again I'm no washing detergent specialist, nor a medical specialist.

Just a note.
The pill was not confirmed to have OMO (or any washing detergent in it) the person in questions *body* was apparently confirmed to have this.
Making a statement like "a white butterfly, was proved to have OMO WASHINGMACHINE detergent in it" without a gas chromotography or other lab test is outlandish.
Not having a go, just trying to make sure things stay factual.
If you've clarified this or actually had the pills tested, ignore my comments :-)

Get a new test kit with meckes reagent, they can more easily tell between MDMA and DXM although I'm not sure what their reactions with other drugs are. Dance safe sells these now. or you can make your own reagents, really easy and cheap.
