Opioids I am going to be a guinea pig and attempt to reverse my opioid addiction.

Im on naltrexone in ULD at the moment. Havent read the entire thread but I noticed the OP is using 1-2 mgs which is waay too much. The maximum dose is 15 MICROgrams. Ive found that it is miraculous. Just look through some of the threads ive started and some of my posts on the topic. Im a fairly vocal advocate of it. It seems to affect the downregulation of receptores as well as G protein coupling. Then theres the endorphin boost it provides which I imagine would help the brain to retain its ability to produce endorphins.
Im on poppy pods and as everyone knows tolerance to them is the ultimate stone cold bitch. However ion 4 weeks or so my tolerance has gone down inexplicably. In total I use

Magnesium/Zinc in high doses since they act as NMDA antagonists and all opiate addicts are deficient in them
5 htp since tryptophan is known to inhibit tolerance
ULD Naltrexone 12-15 Mcg

I think your body and mind will tell you exactly what's going to work and what isn't. Obviously you have experience; just stick to your plan and keep a positive attitude and I'm sure you can handle this. Best of luck

If you guys are going to spend that much on such medications, why not just go for the best available, being it the mighty Ibogaine?

How is it overpriced considering that it cures you forever and ever after, and you use it just once. Using bupe/naltrexone/methadone/anything takes time and money over time, and there's quite a chance you'll go back to the habit right?

Ibogaine is far from sure shot in staying clean. I don't fell like having an insainly instense drawn out trip just to lower my tolerance to a body drug either. I'd rather do some amps and not know where the last 48 hours went.

I'm gonna give this a shot as well. Since I don't have any naltrexone I'm using subs since google shows that ultra low dose naloxone shows the same results in studies. Basically I just broke off a tiny little piece of sub (maybe 1/25 of an 8mg pill) and dissolved it into 15ml of water in one of those nasal spray bottles and I'm just going to use one spray up the nose a day. I know this isn't really scientific since im not sure of the dose I'm taking but I figure it's low enough not to precipitate any WD and high enough to maybe work. The study I glanced at used 10mg/kg morhine and 10ng/kg (NOT microgram, nanogram) naloxone. I don't really expect too much out of this but Ive been meaning to try this and I figured what the hell I don't have anything to lose other than a tiny piece of sub and 10 minutes of time.

I've already done one spray in my nose before posting this and it tasted kinda like sub which made me worried but no WD yet. I'll let u guys know if I notice any difference in tolerance in the coming weeks. Just to note my tolerance now is .5g of IV h for a decent buzz with a strong rush but I barely ever do this (once a month maybe tops) usually I just snort my dope and no amount that I can snort lately gives me any kind of high but i don't wanna switch to the needle full time so I just maintain usually doing about a gram in a day just to keep WD at bay. Again this gives me no high whatsoever anymore and even snorting a few grams at once doesn't really do much.

So I'll keep u guys posted. Again my criteria isnt very scientific at all but if I start to notice that I am getting any kind of high from snorting I'm going to assume that it's working.

WHere in the world did you get the info that it cures you forever?

So far the results are impressive. As I lower my dose of pods it actually gets more potent. My last dosing of pod tea felt like the first months I was using it, before developing my first opioid tolerance. I did a little too much ULDN on New Year's Eve which dilated my pupils, stimulated bowel activity a bit (nothing severe though) and made me edgy. I returned to baseline within a couple hours though. I am noticing less discomfort when I allow by blood levels of opioids to fall very low (by waiting over 24 hours before redosing pods).

Subjectively, as I have no objective observer to confirm my findings, I say this is working. To think one Naltrexone tablet has over a year's worth of ULDN doses in it is amazing.

I should also note that I've been taking Noopept, Choline, Magnesium, non-dissociating doses of Methoxetamine (soon to be replaced by Memantine -- for NMDA mediated opioid tolerance reduction), Silymarin, Phenibut 500mg, and DLPA.

true, i oversaid that. I mean a very few reports of people who used that substance and say they never had a desire for opioids again. Like they've never tried them.

Iboagaine is miraculous for 9 out of 10 people who try it. It really is a wonder drug insofar asd it works some arcane jiggery pokery in the neural pathways and essentially makes the brain revert to a pre addiction state. However loads of people end up having relapses. Moreover the trip isnt plain sailing - its traumatic for many as it should be.

re: Ibogaine

For awhile now I've wanted to go the Ibogaine route. I can get it but I know that ingesting it alone is a horrible idea. I live in the US which still has decades to go before it emerges from the dark ages of drug policy. Perhaps one day I'll visit Canada and give Iboga treatment a go, or get lucky and find a medical professional to supervise me in the US.

Honestly, I'd just be satisfied if I could get on Bupe maintenance for life but not any of this crap where one has to go to a clinic everyday to get a pill. Take home or bust, preferably with refills. I probably would be the 1 out of 10 that would relapse after a transcendent Iboga experience. Once the amygdala experiences that dopamine flood those cravings are locked in for life for some. There won't be a magic bullet for addiction in this century as much as I'd like there to be. Addiction wouldn't be so bad if the government would get the hell out of our lives.
----------

Anyway, I dosed pod/opium tea again 6 hours ago while continuing to follow my ULDN regimen and got a really intense oxycodone-like experience which I haven't had in almost a year due to tolerance. I mean the waves of stimulative rushes that oxy is known for. Now I just need to get enough willpower to cold turkey to see how it impacts my dependency, if at all. Since starting ULDN I actually don't have much in the way of physical discomfort, loose stool, etc. However, the psychological pull is just as strong (as is expected). Financially speaking, I will have to cold turkey within a matter of weeks whether I like it or not so once that happens I'll post about how it impacted my physical dependency.
