I am addicted to oxycodone and I feel helpless

Stop before it gets worse. What you feeling now is nothing. Don't mean to be callous but it will only get worse.

Agreed 110%, 5+ years exp. w/ opiods. Currently taking Oxycontin 40mg ER 2x/day, having moved on from the same meds you are. However my issues are continually aggrivated by a progressive disc disease issue in my back, and multiple physical traumas caused by car accidents.

Keep it under control, taper yourself slowly. I recommend once a week, reduce by 1 pill. If you find yourself out of yourself and going MAD over it, take a half.

Continue the reduction, if it makes you crave/too much to take, go to a rate of -1 to 1/2 of a pill per 2 weeks until you find a comfortable, tapered dosage. It seems from your tolerance, you may be able to reduce this to a comfortable level. Also be careful... 7x/325 mg aceto is toxic. I would ask your doctor for perhaps Zohydro ER. A simple ER hydrocodone med with limited aceto, which IMO is the biggest health issue your regimen is giving you at the moment, aside from your feelings etc.

Well said xoxo! I've done cold turkey, Suboxone and Ibogaine to quit oxycodone (my DOC). Sub works well but make it short term because it is hell to get off of if used long term. Ibagaine is best but scary as hell. I am quitting now once again--a short tern habit. Been using gabapentin, imodium, and valerian root. It is working. Learned about this stuff here. This is the best site for the info you are looking for. Just cruise the threads. Good luck.

care to share more on your Ibogaine treatment experiment please? Curious.
