buy acid for my second time. I am completely foreign to it, but thoroughly enjoyed my first adventure.

The girl i get it from drops it straight from the the thing onto the paper in front of me.

she says to keep it in the freezer so that it lasts, is this true?

if so, how long would it last in there?

is there any way of storing it for an extended period of time (1-2 months)
 
If you store it away from sunlight, heat and humidity it can be stored for a very long time.

The longest I've stored acid for was 6 or 7 months, wrapped in plastic wrap which was then placed in one of those black film canisters and placed in the freezer.

Just as potent as it was when I bought it (had the same tabs from the same guy so I had a reference point for the potency).

I remember reading on Erowid about how some guy found an ampule of the original Sandoz Delysid LSD from the 1950s that had been forgotten in some closet for fifty or so years and it was tried by a bunch of people, all of whom had extensive LSD experience, and they all said it was amazingly pure and a great trip.

If you store it correctly, it will keep basically forever.
 
You need to keep it absolutely airtight to prevent moisture getting in and degrading the LSD over time. Under dry conditions, seal your blotters in to plastic containers, use a vaccum sealer if you have one. Double baggie them, and get the air out, wrap that in foil to keep light out and put it in to an airtight container, like a mason jar. Then store on the coldest setting in the freezer. Try to avoid thawing and re-freezing, as that is pretty much as bad as keeping it warm.

Your best bet maybe to just buy what you need now, and wait until you next want to dose to buy from her again, provided she keeps a cache of acid in storage. Or, get a bunch from her in liquid form (rather than blotter) and put it in a vial and freeze it.
 
I can't find any good acid in NC the last I got was dirty and made me feel terrible. It's been about 11 years since I've had any good. I did run across some excellent shrooms a couple of weeks ago
 
^Which is why it's always a good idea to buy as much as you can as soon as it does the rounds in your area, and store it if need be.
 
What if you have no access to a freezer? How long is it likely to keep in a dry, cool desk drawer? I live with a bunch of people who would not like the idea of class A substances being stored in our kitchen, but I cant leave it in there without telling them because my acid tends to come in liquid-dipped sweeties (rowntrees fruit pastilles usually) and someone might decide to eat one.

Can you imagine being totally drug naive and accidentally ingesting strong acid? And they might not just stop at one either...scary thought.
 
^Cool place is basically as good as a freezer if you ask me. Just make sure its kept away from humidity, and stored correctly, as Survived Abortion outlined perfectly.

Keeping it away from heat and light is the most important part.

I had about 20 hits of acid that I consumed over two years... it kept fine, and this was wrapped in tinfoil in a plastic container in my closet (air conditioned home and all that).

It'll be fine.

I've kept acid for ~4 years like that, no degradation in potency.

Ask her to drop it onto candy next time, its not optimal to drop it from liquid solution onto paper-- blotter is made using a different solvent than is used to prepare vials, so homemade blotters aren't the most skillful way to prepare LSD for personal consumption.

Shew! Last time I tripped acid was an amazingly potent dose. I'm not at all drug or acid naive and that one trip was in-tense. made me lose interest for a good long time.
