Stimulants I am a very sensitive person... to stimulants

I recently sniffed about 4 mg out of an extended release adderall. I crushed up the tiny orange balls and sniffed em up. I didn't feel much euphoria but I did feel a slight tightness in my chest and my heart rate shot up. One of my questions is:

Isn't that a tiny tiny dose? Do you think it's possible that the drug isn't effecting me much and that its mostly in my head? Is the chest tightness a sign that I'm harming myself?

The other thing I find intriguing is when I have taken adderall or ritalin no matter what MOA, when I smoke weed hours after the drug is supposed to have worn off many of the effects of the stimulant will pick back up again and I will feel higher than if I hadn't taken any stimulants. My questions regarding this are:

How does smoking cannabis pick up the stimulant effects even when it's literally been 8 hours since I sniffed or ingested the stimulant? Hpw does cannabis compound the effects in the first place?

And my final kind of bonus question:

Is it dangerous for me to work out rigorously when my heart races from smoking weed? Even when I don't use any stimulants that day?

1. If you don't do a lot of stimulants, it's certainly an active dose (dexedrine is rx'd in 5mg pills)
2. No, it's the drug, you're probably psyching yourself out too
3. No, that's a normal side effect
4. Cannabis can definitely act as a stimulant including increaqsing heart rate dramatically, amphetamine has a long half-life as well (12h yikes) so if you ingest it there will still be some kicking around 8h later.
5. Do you have a history of heart atacks, or high blood pressure, or any actual cause for concern? Then yeah, otherwise you're fine. Stimulant use in moderation is fine as long as you're not pushing yourself too hard.

I actually have had a "light" heart attack a couple years ago either from OD'ing on methadone or because I aspirated on my vomit when they gave me naloxone to stop the methadone OD. The thing is I have seen a cardiologist and they said I made a full recovery. Just this past summer I was running 5ks and 10ks and getting top times for my age group. I sometimes wonder if its possible that my heart attack sensitized my heart to stimulants... the other day my heart was racing and fluttering or something from 3 cups of coffee over 3 or 4 hours...

Three cups of coffee is a lot of caffeine, I find that even one cup of coffee can get my heart racing if I'm stressed out or something like that. You certainly are sensitive to stimulants, so don't forget that caffeine is still a powerful stimulant!

:)

I definitely get that way with cannabis. I'm very sensitive to stimulants, too.
I can end up in panic attacks so easy because of it... just have to control it and take control of your body/brain. =D
