I’m writing a book, care to read a sample?

Hey everyone! I’m about half way finished writing a book. It’s a memoir, a collection of short stories from true life events that shaped who I am today. I have no friends, and my kids can’t read yet (not that I’d want them to read this anyway haha) so I was hoping I could post a few samples in exchange for some honest critique? I hope to self publish before the end of the year.
