Hypothesis of the origin of species: Aliens.

Aliens put us here as a research experiment. They realized, that evolution is simply a process by which natural benefits are discovered through mechanisms of probability within living systems. For example, over millions of years certain combinations of elements and molecules were randomly combined in organic, living systems and some of those created proteins and enzymes. Imagine an enzyme; the probability of such a complex, yet perfect structure existing seems unlikely. Yet it has occurred.

Now consider the knowledge that such a complex race of aliens would have. Obviously, they would have knowledge of relativistic travel, perhaps even advanced wormhole generating technology. Suppose they decided to take advantage of this knowledge in a very innovative way; allowing evolution to occur in a species similar to themselves, essentially doing “biological research” in an automated, self-sustained system (Earth). Along with this, they could use relativistic travel to arbitrarily choose points in time to make observations of the existing life, noting changes and newly developed organic systems.

With this in mind, it is clear that some sort of advanced alien life-form has been using earth as a research facility, and perhaps is the origin of species (or at least modern humans).

;)

I just like the idea a lot; how aliens would take advantage of such vast, extra-existential concepts such as time travel coupled with an intricate understanding of species development and the knowledge to implement adaptations based on that.

Think about this: humans currently have a part of the brain that controls executive functioning, which tends to develop into it's full potential when transitioning from adolescence to adulthood. The change in thinking that accompanies this leap allows for greater planning for the future, and an increased sense of responsibility and better resource allocation.

Go beyond that; what if you could think MILLENNIUMS ahead? What if your sense of responsibility extended beyond keeping a nation afloat for 4 years? This could be some sort of unequivocal change in processing that allowed for the combination of scientific innovation and humanitarian philanthropy to create a new paradigm of life-development.

what if humans could see any point in their life at any desired time?
Such as in the book Slaughterhouse V.

One idea is that we are genetically altered apes, bred at one time to serve our 'Gods' as slaves for mining purposes or perhaps some other reason...then for some reason or another the hierarchy fell apart and we were left on our own. Hell, we could be being bred as a food source and the 'harvest' is just around the corner for all we know.

There's a lot of speculative thought on the subject on the interwebz, you just gotta look for it.

Check out the alien/god connection and an interesting (if not purely entertaining) picture begins to emerge.

the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy is a great story and all, but it is fiction. good thing too, cause if douglas adams was a prophet and/or messiah wed all be dead right now.

It's all yours DoorsAreOpen...

I need to watch some more Ancient Aliens, brb...

Can I have this thread before it gets sullied with lounge drippings?
you really want that???

cause if it goes to P&S, i sure hope that the op will now enlight us on... the origin of aliens

Alien workshop, eh...

Kinda like how we imprison wild animals and poke them and throw popcorn at them? Or some toddler enamoured watching the tiny little ants crawling thru his hands?

I love talking about this subject and always have. They dont call them the Watcher's for nuthin'.

I am surprised nothing new is happening, well there is always something new. I think there were new sightings in Gulf Breeze, Fl. there is always something popping up. The origin? Most likely a place similar to us. Hopefully this wont drown like all the other alien threads.

believe

peace.

Ancient Aliens on the History Channel is a really awesome show. I've always believed strongly in (some form, I don't really have a set belief about the exact details of the who's why's where's they came from and what not) this sort of "creationism" theory. It fits with everything and makes total sense. I read the book The 12th Planet a long time ago and it had some interesting stuff in it, and the Ancient Aliens series really expands on the possibilities. Very cool.

Its [only] my belief that the universe itself is pure consciousness with the expressed purpose of perpetuating more consciousness, and evolving it the REAL way, by frequency modulating resonance, in accordance with laws of sacred geometry.

But, I also believe that there was an alien race put on earth, very long ago, because this was a penal colony for them. These would be the evolutionary progenitors of the dinosaurs.

Then, if one is looking for a name of another alien race which created us, the Sumerians called them the Annunaki. Many other tribes around the world, like the Hopi and Zulus, have their own names for these people.

And I personally do not think they were very beneficial to mankind. They only taught the ancient peoples new things just for the purpose of becoming better slaves.

As this is a recurring theme in the forums, I'll just leave it(for now) at that two cents and see where it goes. Making up your own mind is half the fun.

^ there's a bunch of religions relying on this idea

none of them answer the question "what created the aliens?"

so i don't see how the alien theory is any different from the classic religions which don't explain intelligently the origin of gods either

there even was a hollywood movie about that (don't remember the name. they go on mars)

your hypothess sounds good in my book for the most part,
im notjudging you or anything, but in my opinion, if that were true I don't think we would be here today quite frankly..
If we were an alien experiment of an incredibly advanced intelligent organism then they would have ended this experiment a long time ago...

if they had the technology you speak of they would have to be spiritually evolved also, meaning they would have a connection to the planet in a way.(it would take forever to fully explain what I mean)

We are destroying our planet slowly but surely, so I personally think aliens would have saved Earth from that consequence years ago...

by the way capstone^ nails it everytime haha!
I just read his reply..

Capstone mad respect man I love all of your posts.
I get chills from every one you put on here.

Yeah. I don't really think of it as a religion to explain all things spiritual. More of just an attempt at better understanding our own history.

Perhaps, but I'm not sure technological advances necessarily run parallel to spiritual "evolution". Sometimes, possibly the opposite. They could have been just as greed driven and wasteful as we are, I mean hell, especially if we came from them.

But I'd like to think the opposite. :)
