I was looking for something that could help with RLS or leg cramps during opiate withdrawal.
I found some posts were people were advised to take "Hyland's Restful Legs" and "Hyland's Leg Cramps" or "Hyland's Leg Cramps PM" (with quinidine).
I looked for this and found that it is homeopathic. I was given sometimes a homeopathic medicine but it never worked for me - no matter what I got.
I found some posting that it really worked for some people but I also found some postings were people wrote that it did not change anything.

I maybe will give it a try. But I would be glad if someone could write something about those medicaments.
Did anyone try? Did it help for you during withdrawal?

And what about this "with quinidine"? That is homeopathic, too?
I know that quinidine can help with leg cramps. There are medicaments with quinidine. In Germany they sell pure quinidine tablets for leg cramps. But I am not sure if this Hyland medicament is homeopathic plus real quinidine or if it is also homeopathic quinidine.

Has anybody used these medicaments during opiate withdrawal?
I'd like to get more information. Thank you.

You can try high doses of loperamide (though that presents some other problems), OTC analgesics, or muscle relaxants if you can get your hands on them. Quinidine is most definitely not homeopathic but is an active heart medication and Hyland's Restful Legs is homeopathic (read pointless).

Go to your doctor
Tell them about RLS
Get prescribed to Tramadol (not a controlled substance or narcotic but still connects to opiate receptops)
???
Profit

Tramadol is an opiod, just a weak one. In larger doses it can produce a very long lasting euphoric feeling but also at large doses can cause seizures.
I'm prescribed to it and I don't get much of the opiate effect but I sure do feel that warm fuzzy blanket under my skin (;

Basically.

There are lots of threads about RLS and opiate withdrawal medication, so I'm going to close this one since we don't really do reviews on brand name products anyway, plus the product in question is completely useless.

PM me if you have any questions.
