hydroymethamphetamine?

Can anyone tell me what they know about hydroymethamphetamine? Like if it's found on the black market, if people use it to cut meth (like if it's cheaper to make). Just general information. Thanks.

It's probably not on the black market. It *is* probably equivalent in effects to "regular" meth; Shulgin notes in PiHKAL that hydroxy analogues of certain drugs are often, if not always similar to their non-hydroxy counterparts.

Is there anywhere where this is used? Like in ADD treatment? (BTW, i heard about it on erowid under things that cause a false positive for meth).

Are you talking about the N-hydroxy analogue as FLEA is to MDMA? I haven't got PIHKAL currently but I assume that the hydroxy counterpart is slightly more gentle because I think it gets hydroxylated in vivo anyway. Also para hydroxy meth is a good'n too if this is what you are referring to. If you are talking about the -OH being on the ethyl chain then yes, ephedrine can be used to dilute meth. Hope this helps..
