hydro's and water

Anytime I drink water after taking hydrocodone orally I puke.

I can drink anything else and it doesn't have the same effect.

Does anyone have this effect? Why is it? After being dehydrated there's nothing better than water.

My guess is because the Tylenol dissolves in water and tricks my liver into thinking theres more than there is.

Also, if I do take em without taking the Tylenol out, I only do 1g every four hours and not more than 4g in a 24 hour period.

It's not the amount of Tylenol and I have a tolerance to the amount im taking without nausea.

It's only when I mix the water in!

Oh I should note I always dose on an empty stomach. If I eat could I be able to drink water?

Idk man.
Waters a must if I'm eating opiates. I always take em on an empty gut with a full glass of water, idk, something about the absorption rate. Look it up, id explain more but am noddin out to hard lol.

Im going to have to try something. Its really curbing my interest in opiates.

I need water and I just can't drink it while using opiates without spewing.

Gonna have to lay off for a while and get hydrated while my urine is still clear. That's a good sign.

Happened again. Really disappointing.

My guess is water increases the contact area of the drug with the stomach lining and it is absorbed much quicker due to this.

That sound right? Sucks. I really enjoy tall glasses of ice water.

if you cant stomach it then why not try to plug it and see if its the hydrocodone being taken orally thats fucking you up.

It is completely possible that the hydrocodone alone is making you puke. It's a pretty common reaction.

How do you react with straight oxy or other opiates that don't contain apap?

Would you puke from a regular tylenol? That's probably the most simple way to find out, take a tylenol and drink a glass of water, see what happens.

Yeah those pills are big. I can swallow pills and be straight but like 2 weeks ago I made the mistake of breaking 8 5/500s up into halfs and poppin all of them at once. Lol I had to chug a good half of big Gatorade and was still gagging

It's the Tylenol. I did it cwe same amount and chugged all the water I wanted.

I figure 1g apap (and up to 4g over the course of the day) wouldn't be enough to make me spew. But either my liver got worse or I never drank water with em before.

I get my liver enzymes checked every 6 months as part of routine blood work and they've always been normal. I'm due in about two months.

Oh well I'll just cwe from now on, even small amounts.
