Opioids Hydromorph Contin dose question . . .

Ok so i managed to get my hands on some of this stuff .

Im looking all over the web but i cant seem to find anything anywhere . . .


so i have pretty much no opiate tolerance . Done oxy once and tramadol once .

I was wondering what a good dose would be , or if anyone could point me in a direction so i can find this info ...

and im btw im not shooting it . I plan on taking it orally or snorting it .

don't know too much about hydromorphone but from what i've read, oral ba is really low and would be waste. should snort it if you're looking for a good buzz. start with a low dose because it's very potent. i'm sure an expert will give you some more useful information

we'd have a better chance giving you better information if you told us how much oxy you'd taken and how you felt after it...

for one with very minimal opiate tolerance, 4mg insufflated would probably do the job. if it didn't, another 4mg insufflated half an hour later certainly would

You probably wont find alot of people on here who know this med, because it is manufactured in canada only. But theres a few canucks here plus i hear some of these find there way down to out southern neighbors.

Im prescribed hydromorph contins and have been for 7 years. What do you have, a 3,6,12,18,24 or 30? A good way to measure smaller doses roughly with these is to take the cap off the capsule, fill it almost full of beads and that will be e><actly half of the amount in the given pill. So if you have a 12mg(orange) capsule and take the cap off and almost fill it, you will have 6mg in the cap, if you have a 6mg and do this, you'll have 3mgs, and so on.

To give you an idea of how potent these are, when I was first started on this drug, I was given two 12mg capsules every 12 hours and they knocked me flat. I had a hefty OC tolerance then too.

The best way to prepare these for snorting is to get a glass bowl, and glass drinking glass, one with a fairly flat edge on the bottom. Dump the beads in the bowl and use the edge of the glass to crush the beads. Works like a charm, and because of the size of the bowl, you wont lose too many beads.

Dont listen to anyone who tells you these pills suck, they are the best. I could have any pain med I want for my condition and I chose these after trying all of the common narcotics. Just make sure you crush it good. Myself, and pretty much the whole rest of my town, find that these are even better for snorting then the dilaudid tabs. I have both 8mg dillies and 24mg hydromorph contins prescribed and I would much rather snort the contins. BBut that doesn't matter cause I bang the shit outta them anyways.

5mg? dont got that random dose in america......

beginner... snort atleast 2mgs, see how u feel, and just keep going up by 2mgs

either way, thats not a good drug to use if ur a beginner, its not potent unless u bang it but its still a strong drug...its like, u get more physical effects than mental...like ur heart could fail before u even get high, very un realistic though

u should try taking like 15mg worth of oxycodone or hydrocodone ur first time for a legit high

Try crushing one up (BTW for all you snorters out there, for five bucks you can buy a pill crusher at your local pharmacy that crushes any pill, beads etc. into a fine dust perfect for snorting or preparing for injection....I've read some funky tactics for crushing pills...inside a straw and tapping it with a hammer?...get a pill crusher!) BUT, put the powder under your tongue and let it dissolve for 5 minutes (sub-lingual is one of the best methods for taking any med, drug as it goes directly to your central nervous system without even passing through your liver from those huge veins under your tongue)...very efficient method!

What you have are generic 4mg instant release hydromorphone not hydromorph-contin which is little time release beads in a capsule.

Used to get them all the time.

Dosewise I don't know. You have almost zero tolerance so I'd say start with snorting (or better plugging) one and see what happens I guess and go from there. 1 can't kill anyone over 100lbs I doubt.

Personally I shot 8mg my first time...but that's me. Hydromorph is a LOT stronger IV'd but plugging is not bad . No rush of course.

Yeah I've figured out a nice dose .

Half a pill snorted gives me a nice opiate buzz while a whole one gets me nodding !


It's a weird feeling . Kinda doxy andzoned out .
Best way to describe the high is to compare it to when it's winter time and your sitting inside with a warm blanket and a cup of tea all snuggled up
that's what it feels like lol
