Hydrocodone? (Yet another pharms Q I have)

Alright so my big question is...is Hydrocodone any good recreationally? I've got alot of it (well my parents do), and as I'm snaggin' a couple of Vicodin I'm wondering if this stuff is any good...
Oh and interestingly enough, on Erowid (yes I did do research before I posted) it said that "Vicodin" and "Vicodin ES" are brand names of certain Hydrocodones. Does this mean I answered my own question or is there more to it than that?

Hydrocodone has an amazing recreational value. 10-15 mg should produce noticeable euphoric results for a first-time user of this narcotic. Best wishes and happy painkilling.

VICOPRUFEN...Erowid says its just Hydrocodone+Ibuprofen...Anyone have experience with this as well?

10-15mg? Even for a nontolerant user that isn't much and I doubt will produce any great euphoria. If you are above 150lbs. I would take 20mg to start. It's a good solid number to start with if you want to get HIGH off the shit.
Shit how many do your parents have? You make it seem like a stockpile.

This probably won't apply, but if you take both and get no results, give up. It doesn't effect some people. 1 Percocet produces results (pain relief, not recreation) for me, but one time I took 4 vicodin and 4 darvocets within 2 hours with no tolerance whatsoever and it didn't even start to work on the pain I was having, much less produce any euphoria. Codiene doesn't work for me, either. Vicodin can be pretty strong for some people, though. I have a few friends that get wrecked off 1. Start low and be careful with alcohol. 1 drink while taking percocet is enough to make me pretty sick.
 
Yeah my parents got tons 'o bottles lying around...quite old too, some of them dated 2000
But I'm still wondering if anyone has had any experience with Vicoprufen? Or know anything about its recreational value?

HOGWASH! I say stick to 10mg for your first time. I might get ahold of 20 or so 5/500s roughly every six months. Last time I got some I dropped three to start. I was fucking floored, and even managed to puke for the first time in ten years, mind you I weigh 215 pounds. Don't get me wrong, it was still an enjoyable experiance albeit at times overwhelming! Not everyone has the same tolerance to opeiates. I like to refer to myself as an Opiate Pussy, don't take much to knock me on my ass. Thats also another reason why I won't try anything I already haven't, i.e. the rest of you classic opiates.

Vicoprofen is no difference is euphoric terms than any of the other hydrocodone combos (APAP, Asprin, Ibuprofen).
APAP is hell on your liver.
Asprin is hell on your stomach
Ibuprofen..don't really know, but its probably hell on something.
Plus APAP, Asprin, and Ibu have no recreational value.
 
Vicoprofen is simply Hydrocodone (5mg, 7.5mg, or 10mg)which is a narcotic painkiller mixed w/ Ibuprofen (200,400,800...) which is an anti-inflammatory. The rec. effects of Vicoprofen are the SAME as Hydrocodone, since Ibuprofen has NO rec value. If you want to learn more, do a search on the net, and there will be sites that will give you more info than you need-like Yahoo health, etc.....

I'm sure if you did a search on this topic, you could have answered all your own questions.
Vicodin come in 3 strengths, 5, 7.5, and 10 mg of hydrocodone. Each pill is stamped Vicodin, Vicodin ES, and Vicodin HP, respectively. Vicodin is just the name brand of hyrdo/APAP. You could use generic, name brand, whatever, and get the same effect. There is no recreational value in APAP and Aspirin, so it doesn't matter which one you take. Just keep in mind that too much of that stuff is not a good thing.
 
yeah, you can get fucked up off the vicoprofen. I had it prescribed to me when I broke my tailbone(yes my ass) He said the hydrocodone in the pill will help the pain, and the ibuprofen will be act as an anti inflammitory. But of course i did more than the recommended dose and i was feeling nice!
 
I was just perscribed hydrocodone/apap 10/650M.. the pharmacist said i was originally perscribed 10/660M, but they didn't have any and they called my doctor and said that 10/650M was ok..
my question is what's the difference?
 
10/660? I don't think there is such thing ..
But regardless if it's Vicoprofen, Vicodin, Lortab, Lorcet, etc.. the active narcotic is hydrocodone, thats what gets you high...
I would say start with about 20mg and work your way up.. 30mg should have you feeling real nice, anything about that and you might start getting messy... tollerance is another issue, and some people simply don't get much euphoria off narcotic (they only get sick)..

jp411896, I'm in the same boat as you. When my tolerance is low, I can take 30mgs of hydrocodone and get nothing much beyond itching and sweatiness. But I would be able to get quite high off of only 15mgs of oxycodone.
 
Different people have different reactions to hydrocodone. Therefore, if one has a big supply of them, why not start out small (10-15mg, for example) to avoid any possible nausea or ill effects like constipation or dizziness. If one finds that they require more to get off, then they can proceed with higher doses.
