Hydrocodone Potentiation Questions

I never mixed the two. I have a high tolerance for vicodin and they usually make me have more energy and Xanax I only did a couple of times and always makes me tired but I heard good things about mixing the two.

So what is it like exactly and would it be very dangerous for me? (I heard about the danger to).

I'm 62 and like 198 Pounds if that helps.

If your tolerance is pretty good for that amount of Vicoden, I see no reason why .5 mg of xanax can't be included in your mix.

Do you normally take two of those vicodens at a time?

I mix Vicodin & Ativan once in a while & I enjoy the high. Today I mixed 2 vicodins, 2 Somas & .5mg Ativan & bot was I ever high! I like the combinations but I never mixed it with xanax tho but it shouldnt be much difference from Ativan.

Benzodiazepines are great potentiators of opiates, I frequently mix percs and butorphanol with ativan or xanax. The dosage you're asking about is safe and should be enjoyable. Just play it safe as the more benzos you take, the more you'll want to take. They're the only drugs I've ever blacked out on, and it's happened more than once.

Yeah. Taking just 1 is a complete waste, it wouldn't do anything for me.

potentiating Vicodins...?

Now I read some threads already but they seem conflicting.

Anyway, I have 2 vicks 10mg/325 each. I usually take 2 but I have a high tolerance.

OK I heard promethazine can potentate and actually used it before to do it but my results were inconclusive. I tried grapefruit juice but I usually end up chugging it because I freakin hate the taste.

I also break my pills in half before I take them.

So what am I doing wrong? Is there anything else I can do to help? I also might be doing it wrong because no one actually explained how I should do it (IE: Drink nasty juice, take vicodins).

Am I suppose to wait awhile after I do them before I take the opiates? and if so how long?

also what if I did both ruby red grapefruit juice and taking promethazine? Will that work better?


Is there anything I'm not suppose to do after I take them? (like don't drink certain things?).

I don't want a "10 or 20 minute buzz either".

Please don't create two threads asking the exact same question. I merged both of your Vicodin threads into this one.

White grapefruit juice is the most effective. I recommend taking the promethazine (or other sedating antihistamine) 30 minutes or so before consuming the hydrocodone (Vicodin).
