I am planning on eating 80 mg of hydrocodone (IR) in a few days. I was wondering if this is a safe dose knowing that I can handle 50 mg of oxycodone with no problem. I've seen the charts and know that the effects of oxycodone are a lot stronger than the effects of hydrocodone mg-for-mg. But does this mean that the overdose potential mg-for-mg is less with hydrocodone than with oxycodone? In other words, is it safe to assume that weaker effects translate to less chance of overdose, or is there no connection between effects felt and overdose potential?
So far, the most hydrocodone I've ever done at once is 50 mg, but I figured that since oxy is so much stronger that upping the hydro to 80 is OK. Right?
