Opioids Hydrocodone causing sickness?

I did 4 5/500 hydros this morning, and that's all the APAP I have had all day. I didn't think 2 grams of APAP would be harmful and I was driving somewhere when I took them so I couldn't do a CWE. And I haven't had any opiates at all in a while but I usually took 10-20mgs of hydro.
Anyways about 30 minutes after taking them I started sweating a ton and feeling very nauseous. The sweating went away after a few minutes but I felt sick for a few hours, it went away for about an hour. When I got home today (about 6 hours after taking the pills) I got a huge migraine that brought back my nauseousness, so I laid down and slept for about 3 hours. I just got up and my stomach is still upset but I feel fine regardless. The whole time I was feeling nauseous the first time I was still feeling the hydro, just like I had to puke.
So I'm wondering what the problem might have been cause I really don't want to go through this again, it wasn't as bad as a W/D but it was close. I don't think it's relevant but for a couple weeks I went through about 120 dramamine pills (I know it's extremely bad). I'm afraid to do any more pills right now and just wanted to clear this up before I touched anything else. Thanks.
 
to me man that sounds like more of a hydro overdose, as in you thought your tolerance was higher than it was, just my guess though.
 
I was worried about that too, I've never done more than roughly 15mg. Should I stay away for a while or anything?
 
Did you eat after taking them? I usually feel like you described an hour or so after taking hydrocodone. I would eat a slice of pizza or something, and the nausea would go away.
 
I ate a couple poptarts right after, but I was too sick to eat anything else but oatmeal and that was after I slept.
 
it's not an overdose, hydrocodone just tends to make some people sick like that. i've gotten incredibly nauseous from as little as 15 mg. i am talking about incapacitating nausea where all i could do was lie in bed.

I agree I highly doubt 20 mg would od you because in the er many times for pain they have giving me two 10mg hydros but I've been taking them for about 7-8 years, but they didnt know that... Alot of people just get sick from the apap
 
Amapola just assaulted the head of this nail.

Many of the hydrocodone preparations look rather similar and a 10/500 or even 10/325 isn't going to be substantially different in size and especially if you have not used them in a while, it seems possible you thought you had 5mg and really had 7.5mg or 10mg preparations.

Even if this did not happen, you likely just exceeded your tolerance and got sick. If you're prone to anxiety, that might have exacerbated and elongated the reaction.

In the future just be more careful with your dosing... the mantra here is that you can always take more but never take less.
