I believe its the human goal to come back to where they came from- the realm of god, heaven, whatever you wanna call it.
We achieve this by doing 2things
1. to learn life lessons on a subconscious n conscious level, thus honing our superconscious
2. to practice these superconscious abilities in the form of prayer, meditation, etc. n build up the energies in us so our high-self can plant the prayer formed seed, water it in the energy we manifest, then allow our futures to grow
Even though the universe is dark infinity, the flickering lights of consciousness never go unnoticed. Conscious beings are the most significant things in the universe besides the universe itself because it is from consciousness n spirit that all matter develops from. the world has this idea that God n science dont mix. yet those who say that dont realize the two intertwine n cannot exist independently. science answers many many questions, but not all. God answers all questions with one answer: abandon all ignorance n stigmas, n the answer will come without effort.
Yes. I believe this is true. We are all manifestations of god and the spiritual realm. Most major religions take this to be true as the saying "in the beginning was the word and the word was made flesh" This "word" is intellect itself. but the intellect of who? I say it is the intellect of God! God is the vibration and sound of OM, and it is from thee that all things have sprung into existence, throughout the course of time. This is even stated in the bhagavad-gita.
"Of all that is material and all that is spiritual in this world, know for certain that I am both its origin and dissolution.
O conqueror of wealth [Arjuna], there is no Truth superior to Me. Everything rests upon Me, as pearls are strung on a thread.
O son of Kunti [Arjuna], I am the taste of water, the light of the sun and the moon, the syllable om in the Vedic mantras; I am the sound in ether and ability in man."
So you are correct, all matter has come forth out of consciousness and spirit and I also agree with what you said about how god and science DO mix. I believe that god has created a natural law and order of things, so that this universe may function as one diverse and harmonious entity, all the way from the macrocosm to the microcosm. And what science is, is the pursuit of nature through number and measure. I remember i was listening to my good man Terence Mckenna and he was on about someone who was speaking with an angel and then had an epiphany. The angel told him that nature must be pursued through number and measure, and thus science was born. But through this pursuit of nature with only measure and number, we end up very materialistic because you are then stuck seeing and living in a world created through the eyes and not the mind or sense, thus creating scientific materialism. But what is the science of nature itself, without number and measure, but to the very core and essence of our own natural being? I say that this would be the science of self-realization. Yes, this isnt a religion, it is a science! and to my understanding, it is also god's science. Yes god has created everything so all sciences are his, however, through his unlimited opulence, he can take any form of anything. And by being able to do so, he always chooses the greatest one. not the greatest by perspective, but the literal greatest one, for he truly is THEE greatest. this is shown in the bhagavad-gita as well.
"Indeed, You alone know Yourself by Your own potencies, O origin of all, Lord of all beings, God of gods, O Supreme Person, Lord of the universe!
Please tell me in detail of Your divine powers by which You pervade all these worlds and abide in them
How should I meditate on You? In what various forms are You to be contemplated, O Blessed Lord?
Tell me again in detail, O Janardana [Krsna], of Your mighty potencies and glories, for I never tire of hearing Your ambrosial words.
The Blessed Lord said: Yes, I will tell you of My splendorous manifestations, but only of those which are prominent, O Arjuna, for My opulence is limitless.
I am the Self, O Gudakesa, seated in the hearts of all creatures. I am the beginning, the middle and the end of all beings.
Of the Adityas I am Visnu, of lights I am the radiant sun, I am Marici of the Maruts, and among the stars I am the moon.
Of the Vedas I am the Sama-veda; of the demigods I am Indra; of the senses I am the mind, and in living beings I am the living force [knowledge].
Of all the Rudras I am Lord Siva; of the Yaksas and Raksasas I am the Lord of wealth [Kuvera]; of the Vasus I am fire [Agni], and of mountains I am Meru.....
....Of all creations I am the beginning and the end and also the middle, O Arjuna. Of all sciences I am the spiritual science of the self, and among logicians I am the conclusive truth."
So, you see, It is in my understanding that this entire existence or universe IS god. This is the what we must come to understand. That god is not just some entity in the sky, but that every cell that flows through each and every one of our bodies carries in it the life force of god. It is then in our best interests to pursue this knowledge of the ever manifest god through prayer, meditation, and other psycho-spiritual practices, so that we may not just know with words that god is forever manifest, but to know with experience that god is forever manifest; to find this unlimited and supreme entity within ourselves and to then offer selfless service to it. By offering selfless service to the divinity within ourselves, we are actually fulfilling the needs of all of society because we are then watering the trees of our lives at the root source. If i am only good to my parents, then i cut out many others. If i am only good to my friends, then i cut out many others. But if i am good to the lord, which is the all, inside and outside of myself, then nobody is left out and we all share great joy. This recognizing the divinity within, or establishing a witness of thy self and then offering service unto it, is what I believe you were saying, when you said
"2. to practice these superconscious abilities in the form of prayer, meditation, etc. n build up the energies in us so our high-self can plant the prayer formed seed, water it in the energy we manifest, then allow our futures to grow."
Very nicely put, if i may add.
(note: I like to make references to the Bhagavad-gita, because it is the ultimate authority, as it is the direct word of god. When such children in a classroom are trying to find answers to their equations, they look to their highest authority at the time, which would be the teacher. Same here. When we seek answers about existence, I too look for the highest authority, and I believe the Bhagavad-gita fulfulls this need for an authority because it is god's own transcendental word)
