Hi, noob to the forum here. Been on test since about Feb or Mar through my doc. 1.5ml of Testosterone Cyp (2000mg/10ml) every 10 days. I use the z technique and meticulous about sterile procedures and alcohol wipes. Draw with an 18ga, administer with a 22ga x 1 in quads, relaxed not flexed (I could honestly care less about needles or sticking so that's not an issue for me), rotating quads each dose. Other than normal injection site pain, and a little blood every once in awhile, all has been good. Dosed myself on 11/7 and it bled a little more than normal. 11/8 there was a tightening and pain greater than normal. 11/9 soreness increased, slight bruising around injection site, a light redness, still tight and tender to the touch, and a little warm. This has persisted till now. Called my doc, he can't see me for a few days due to surgery schedule. Did I just miss the muscle? Bad placement? Not seeing where I can post the pic of it to show. Any help is appreciated.

It happens mate. It's usually a case of sitting and waiting a few days to see if it improves. Usually it's not an infection, just a bad placement. If you start to develop fever-like symptoms though head straight down to your ER.

Sounds like a bad pin. Most infections I know of come from dirty gear. Yours is pharma so that's not the case. Quads always give me rough times. I'd suggest a smaller injecting needle such as a 25g 1". Will minimize injection trauma and thus less chance of additional irritation or post injection pain. Take some ibuprofen and heating pad on the site and you'll feel better. If no heating pad then massage it in a hot shower.

Thanks y'all. That is what I was thinking based off what i had read on here... Just a little unnerving actually going through it versus googling the symptoms and reading the forum posts.

Thanks for the assist.
