Hey bluelight,
It's really emberassing bringing this up but I think there may be a minor problem.
About a month ago I noticed a semi large bump on the "front side" of my private areas.
And a week ago I noticed some wart looking bumps in my "back door". And all of the sites I've read lead it back to looking like HPV :(

I hate posting this and I hope everyone who reads this will be mature about it.
I've been with my partner for 5 months now and I didn't notice it until this month.
I've only had sex with one other person and they were a virgin so it couldn't have been them.
But my boyfriend said he got tested in April and everything came back fine so that's where I'm a little confused.

I've read that the immune system is supposed to clear out the virus within 2 years, so I'm -

A.) Wondering if anyone has had this problem before and how they dealt with it?
B.) how i can improve my immune system to help clear it out of me :/

1. Get tested for it.

2. Don't automatically self-diagnose yourself with a disease.

3. Don't freak out. There's soooooo many strains of hpv that all have different symptoms. Some are harmless. But some are contagious so you should know which one you have.

Just get the bump looked at by a doctor, that's really the only way to test for hpv that I know of. Common finger warts are caused by a strain of hpv virus. I had two warts on my fingers a year ago and it totally grossed me out knowing they were hpv. I boosted the heck outta my immune system any way I could, they eventually fell off and went away.

You have to know what it is first to know how you can treat it. Don't guess. You also don't want to be spreading it to other people if that's what it is.

How was your bf tested for HPV? In men the main way they diagnosis it is by seeing the actual sores, unlike in women where they can do a PAP.

I agree with the above... if you're worried you should go to a doctor. If they are active HPV sores then it will be easy to confirm with a simple swab.

Absolutely see a Doctor. We cannot diagnose you over the Internet - it's impossible! We can't see you, or red your medicl history or take any samples for analysis.

Please see a professional.
