After reading Ginsberg's Howl:
Solstice
I saw the best minds of my generation
reborn
under cover of the longest night
one, two, seven - it grows
the pattern undiscerned
but the soul knows the rhythm
the pulse of life
slipping through the cracks of Albert’s theory
one great I
pregnant with truth
lights the spiral path
where we meet ourselves in clever disguise
but the soul is the midwife
she knows her only child
and she flies to embrace him
again and again
thank us for this joy
thank us for this love

This piece really moved me, Guru Daddy. The soul as a midwife....incredibly vivid description. Thank you for sharing this with us.
