How young is too young?

Honestly is there really anyone that has ended up going to college that started burning at 12-14 that wouldn't go back and take it back?

I started burning at 14 and am now 20. Yeah I didn't lose track at school but alot of things i think back and think about all the MONEY i woulda saved, and i think alot IF i coulda done better... I really shoulda started burning after i got into a good college... Really regret that personally.

I agree with you. I started at around 14 and started smoking daily around 16 and now I'm 19 and off to college (but not before I had to repeat senior year because I was too busy off getting high). Plus, like cow said- all the money, time and effort spent trying to get it. I regret it a little bit.

It's not a matter of age to me, it's a matter of maturity. It's natural for any child to be curious about substances. Especially cannabis, seeing as how it's the #1 most widely used "illicit" drug in the world.

I first started smoking at about the age of 15 (don't remember exactly), but I felt as though at the time, it was more of a "oh, so this is what 'high' is," type experience.

My little sister just smoked cannabis for her first time a few weeks ago, with me. She's 15. I had no qualms with myself in enabling her to do so, seeing as how she is very mature and level-headed for her age, and I felt as if she should have a person she could trust and look up to for guidance during the situation (me, being her older brother). She thoroughly enjoyed the experience, but I had a long discussion with her about not letting it get out of hand. Pot can turn anybody into a lowlife slacker if you don't watch yourself. Safe, mature, and responsible experimentation is what it's all about.

nah 13 isn't too young. But if he cant control usage and is starting to act weird in a bad way then he isn't mature enough for the privlage. Also make sure he doesn't steal for it.

I know a kid who started when he was about 8.

I started just after I turned 15 though, and most of my friends started at 13 or 14.

When I think about it 13 seems reallll young, but it feels like it's the age most kids I knew start or started.

13 is too young to smoke weed for sure...

I still think 15 is too young.

People that age just haven't matured fully. It's just a FACT, it's like saying a 4 year old should be having sex when he/she hasn't matured.

I smoked at 15 and kinda wished that I had waited till later. =\

I was 13 when i first started smoking. I actually think thats the right age to get introduced into drugs. Its a big advantage to know what your doing. It also allows you to have a certain amount of maturity about drugs once you get heavier into them at a later date. I smoke my 13 year old brother up and i feel good about it. Marijuana is a beautiful thing and people should be introduced to it as early as possible in my opinion.

Everyone deserves a little herbal enlightenment sometimes. Why is it such a big deal if a 12 or 13 years decides to enjoy some smoke every once in a while?
