This was an interesting interview I thought, from a left perspective…I enjoyed the discussion about the changing utility of psychoactive drugs, from things like cementing human bonds/alliances to (more so in the present day) getting appropriated to help the user serve as a cog in the economic system. The stats mentioned about American drug users are pretty astonishing too if true….this is one drug addled country lol
 
23% of respondents trust conclusions from studies where people are told to be honest about their drug history. About a quarter.
