How to tell the difference between Meth and Ice

Yeah, do a bump... given that both 4-methyl-aminorex and methamphetamine are made in a clandestine setting, you can't really go by consistancy, smell, or apperance.. you could try a test kit, as I am fairly certin methamphetamine would react differntly from 4-ma..
Personally I would go by taste, then again, can't really describe a taste..

4-MA has never been common.. PPA is actually not the most difficult precursor to come across - try getting a workable amount of cyanogen bromide.. PPA can still be ordered with ease..
More then likely, you're getting meth and the source was simply being a prick calling it "Ice" .. if you're getting the real deal, then most likely the dealer will be trying to explin the chemical as more then "just meth" (and you will probably be paying more too!)

Been smoking and blasting heaps of both of them lately - and I've noticed when I smoke the Ice, it seems to need more heat to start fuming.
Also when I smoke the crystal meth the smoke appears more gradually, and is easier to control.

It should actually be the other way around - 4-methyl-aminorex has a very low melting point, which is one of the reasons it's damn near impossible to cut it... if you put a little on a piece of foil, then heat it with a lighter, it should vaporize very quickly (while any cut would burn slowly) ..

I was just wondering what the difference is between meth and ice (shaboo)? As i have constantly been in discussions and debates with people thinking there the same thing.

Deus, I wouldn't neccessarily say more euphoric. Definantly more of a body high than methamphetamine, though.
In my experience, 4-methylaminorex has more mind-altering properties. Instead of just acting as a stimulant, it has some characteristics of MDMA. I've only taken it a few times, but every time I took it, instead of getting talkative and sociable like I do on meth, I got very introverted and introspective. I would get very quiet and see different perspectives on things and just think for hours and hours. The other thing I noticed is that it immediately made subtle visual changes. It's hard to explain, because as I said, they were subtle, but there were definantly differences in the way things appeared, particularly colors.
I would imagine the euphoria itself has much more to do with the users state of mind than anything.
I prefer meth to 4-methyl.. the 4-methyl gave me too much of a head trip. Meth is just more fun to me.

Thank you, yeah your right with that, i feel ice is a more euphoric feeling. But i was just wondering what the make up of each one is. As some people have been saying that meth is pure speed and ice is cut with coke. It all ends up being a big debate as no one knows what is what.
Ice definatly isnt Coke/Meth cut, It Is 4-Methyl aminorex, Im not going to draw the structure of it because it is a bitch, basically it is similar to meth with a few more substituants added on.
