How to switch from adderal xr to ir?

Alright, yesterday I got my prescription to adderal xr 10mg,legitimately. (my doctor said he always starts people out on 10mg even tho I told him that I have used adderal before in 20 and 30mg form with major success .) anyways I don't like the adderal xr and never have. I like the ir forms because they seemed to work better/the duration was perfect so I could actually get some sleep.

How do I ask my doctor to switch to adderal ir 20mg? I need to do this ASAP and I'm not sure if he will do this so quickly because as I said my script was just wrote yesterday. I don't want to seem like I'm drug seeking, because that's far from reality.

Also I told him that I used adderal before, but I on,y said that I did this once, when in reality it was probably around 20-30 times or more. I didn't want to tell hm this because I got nervous and thought he wouldn't give me the medicine that I need to be productive, because he was thinking I was just looking for drugs or something .

Was this a bad thing to do? And should I correct this on my next visit?

These sorts of threads aren't allowed, just be honest with your doctor.

You can try crushing the XR beads up though and then bombing it to bypass the time release.
 
I have done that many a times I just overall like the ir's better. And what rules did I violate for future reference . I read the rules and cannot seem to pinpoint what rule was broken?

I think there's a general rule against threads on how to ask doctors to get drugs, one of the mods will have to clarify that though

I think if you're genuinely not feeling much effect off them, or they're keeping you awake at night, just tell your doctor that. Might be worth waiting a few days though, it'll indeed be a bit sketch if you come in just the next day.
 
That what I was mainly asking, If I should wait or not to ask, I just couldn't word it properly. And I'm sorry I didn't really think of this as a now to get drugs thread, because my ADHD was a serious problem and the xrs don't alow me to sleep, but I do see where your comming from. I will be more careful as to how I word my posts. Thanks for understanding
