Hey I have an ez test complete, and I was wondering how piperazine will react to the test in it. It seems like many of the pills I test lately turn up funny colors like light blue...light purplish grey...colors that don't exactly seem normal. Sometimes, Ill get no reaction at all on the mandeline or mecke' while marquis may have a barely noticible blue tone.

Good pills are usually dark purple, navy, or black.

I often test for people, and try to follow up on how there roll went...but sometimes I'm just left with questions on the pill they brought to test.

Any info?

I've got an ez test complete too, and from what i've tested, the piperzines do not react at all with the reagents. The only thing I've noted is that when i put my tongue on a pill thought to be a pipe, it burned and felt like licking a 9 volt battery. I know this isn't a real good way to determine it, but it's all I can go on for now.

I have heard that they might fizz a little bit when the reagent touches them, but they certainly will not cause any color change.

mCPP does not react to the Marquis reagent. The Simons reagent will turn a light blue color :)

Fizzing and no color change could be the binding agent used in the pill :(

I tested a pill I initially suspected to be pipes because Mecke got no reaction.

Marquis however gave me a rusty orange, meth?

I know it's not MDxx and didn't buy any, I'm just curious.

How do I know when my test kit chemicals have expired? I feel like m mecke and marquis are not responding to alot of pills lately...had the kit about as ye3ar

Marquis will turn a brown color as the formalin polymerises. It will still work for a while although sensitivity may be reduced. It should be discarded before it becomes a dark beer color. Mecke should last better, but for longer life both should be stored at ~ 4 deg C - but not with food.

What do you mean but not with food?

My DS Mecke is in my fridge right now. It's been in there since March. Am I secretly eating sulfuric acid laced food lol

Mecke contains the very toxic Selenious acid, classified as a dangerous poison. I wouldn't want that or sulfuric acid around any food I was planning to eat. Sulfuric acid is very oily and has a nasty habit of getting on things you don't want it too.
