I tried searching for an answer to this and couldnt really find anything.
O.k. so I have a few empty capsules, (previously contained MDMA) and Id like to make a few weed pills. Ive tried this a long time ago and I got about a decent bowls worth into a capsule, but I didnt put anything else in with it, just weed, and it didnt do a damn thing. Im sure it was because it didnt have anything to help carry it into my system. What else would I need to mix the weed with or put in the capsule to get it to work? Maybe put a decent size drop of hash oil in with it?
Any info on this is appreciated. And also, any ideas of what else I could shove into these capsules with the weed that would give a nice experience?
 
make bud butter or oil! the glycerin tincture definitely sounds like too much work, and i don't think thc is even very soluble in glycerin. remember, marinol pills are simply pure synthetic thc in sesame oil. of course, you can't put veggie oil into gelatin caps because it'll leak out and get everywhere, but you can put it into a tincture bottle and take a couple drops.
 
Eating 1 bowl worth isnt going to do anything, and adding anything to it wont either.

You need to eat more weed! Try .5-1.0gs next time.

Back when I did it a bowls worth would have been enough, this was several years ago when I barely smoked. Thats also why Im inquiring about ways to make it more potent.

You think if I make really strong bud butter and fill the caps full it will do the trick?
 
well, really strong bud butter should do the trick, but you don't want to put it into capsules because it will just leak out. this is why brownies are so nice, they are well-suited for ingestion :)
 
Wait, are you priming the bud? Only 10-20% of the THC is usually in its active form in bud, the rest becomes "activated" & converted with heat - i.e. the lighter on the bong or cherry on the joint.

I can't remember the exact temperature you should use to prime it, but I know it's on here somewhere (almost certain it's in one of the firecracker threads). It's pretty precise - too low and it won't prime, too high and you'll burn it out of the bud.
 
Oh yeah, and it's oil-soluble, so you'll want to add a bit of anything greasy to help absorption (cooking oil, butter, whatever takes your fancy)
