How to make camping more luxurious? need DIY ideas

Make sure you have a pot and a grill type thing you can put over the fire so you can cook all kinds of goodies.

I made a dank ass steak once with just a pot and the fire. Basted in beer and jack daniels bbq sauce. If thats not luxurious i dont know what it.

So moral of the story bring a pot.

Unless you are on a campsite then there will not be showers so you might want to spend a couple of pound getting a solar shower which you can hang from a tree and let it heat up and use during the day so you at least feel clean.

camping is great fun, I take some rope and tie it round the pack of beers and let it sit in the water to keep them cool. Also never take a watch, it feels so much more relaxing just letting the day happen without saying oh it's time for this

Being warm, a good nights sleep and good food are all the luxuries I need. Obviously it is more difficult if you are walking to your campsite but we only drive to doofs so we try and pack as much into our car as possible.

A tarpaulin to rig up for shelter from the sun and/or rain is much more comfortable, and social than trying to huddle in just a tent. A foam mattress is more bulky than an air one but a thousand times more comfortable especially if you are sharing. A big duvet is a lot warmer than a sleeping bag. A blanket to lie on and a large pillow to sit on. We usually precook then freeze meals that we can easily reheat. The frozen tuppawear also keeps drinks etc cold inthe esky. Curries, spaghetti and meatballs, risotto are quick favorites. Pancake shake mixes are also easy to cook over a camp stove, just add fresh berries.

^Well I guess you could bring a pack of hot dogs or something. Oh and camping isn't supposed to be luxurious at all peoples. It ruins the whole point which is roughin it. That's just my opinion tho and opinions are like assholes everybody's got one and they usually stink.
