Well heres how I got on Benzo's in the first place. I went to doctor A and told her I have been having severe panic attacks, agoraphobia, and a few other symptoms along that line. She wanted to put me on a depression medication. I told her I have been on about everyone naming them all to her and that I am not depressed. I then told her a was seeing a psych. and he put me on xanax
(.5 mg.) and that was the only thing that seemed to help, but he is no longer around. She prescribed me 60. Every month I went back it seemed she had a thorn up her a**. She put me on 60 pink Kolodopins, and then the next month 30. She wanted me to see another psych., but I didn't so I had to drop her. I went to Doctor B who was notorius in this area for prescribing benzos. When I went in the first time I was withdrawing from the benzos from Doctor A. He knew I was in bad shape and asked my story. I told him the truth about what happened and what my dosage was. He said will 90 Blues work. I said I think 120 would be better. So I got 120 Blues.
Anyways this was 2 years ago. Since then I have been on the same amount. I have passed all my drug screenings from the doctors. The only other thing they give me is Amiben. My tolerance has risen to the point where I have to buy 20-30 off the street every month. $ months ago I told the primary doctor that I am running out of the benzos quicker and quicker and that my tolerance has gone up. He didn't say anything and then wrote me out 3 months worth. I went back to the doctor last month and seen a Physicians Assitant. I went a different route and told her that my g/f left and took my kids. I have been having severe panic attacks when I talk to her on the phone. I am agoraphobic (can't go out to places with alot of people), and that I have been staying with my parents and can't go up to the rental house that my dad own's because that's where me and my g/f lived. I even started to put on drama cry when I talked about my kids. Well she started bringing up the depression meds. I told named to her every depression med I took (lying about most), but seroquil and prozac wasn't on my list. She wrote me out a script of prozac, and said that she is going to get me a therapist or whatever. I didn't fill the script and didn't see the therapist.
So my question is how can I get my prescription upped? They always seem to throw me this depression medicine bull. I know my tolerance is up and I have had several panic attacks in the past 3-4 months. I even tell them I have been on the same dose for over 2 years, and I know I am not depressed. Anyways I go to the doc. tomorrow, so any suggestions would help. Also will they get mad if I tell them I didn't fill my prozac or should I just lie? Also will they know I didn't see the therapist. The doctor is in one state and the therapist another. About and hour drive. I currently don't have my license. Please guys I need some help, and I hope I don't see the darn P.A.
Thanks
