I'm trying to get on suboxone. My heroin habit is to much to handle. Anybody have the info on how and where I can get on suboxone in colorado springs. I just want help with the sickness.

Look up doctors or call around- you have to have a special degree to prescribe it. And they usually ask for a deposit just to start. Or check out methadone clinics-- many of them are giving people the choice between the two.

Before being places on suboxone, your withdrawal symptoms will be assessed using the Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale (COWS). If placed on subs too soon, you will experience precipitated withdrawal.

When being assessed, don't fake your symptoms (you'll wish you hadn't)

You can find a prescribing doctor by going on suboxone.com and using their "Find A Doctor" tool

There are many in the springs, denver and aurora.

Suboxone is expensive without insurance. You can find a $50 coupon on needymeds.org

Good luck!

If you can do subutex it's far cheaper and I had less side effects. Just a thought. There are programs to pay for your script too; ask your doctor if he is willing to enter you in one.
