Opioids How to get more/more powerful opioids from doctor?

I recently broke my thumb in a motorcycle accident and was prescribed 14 norco 7.5/350s but they just aren't doing the trick. I haven't been able to sleep and have been taking more than the recommended dose just to keep my thumb from hurting. I don't want my doctor to think I'm a pill-seeking addict, but I really want something better than these lortabs. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks
 
We don't allow threads about asking how to talk to your doctors, or threads about getting drugs.

Tell your doctor your thumb still hurts and see what he says. It won't be broken forever.
